2025 WNBA All-Star Game Starters


The WNBA officially revealed its All-Star starters early this week, combining fan, player, and media votes. Leading the pack are captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier, followed by 8 more top standouts across guard and frontcourt positions:


Guards

  • Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings) – Only rookie starter, averaging 18.7 PPG, 5.7 APG

  • Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever) – Fan-vote leader and captain; averaging 18.2 PPG & 8.9 APG

  • Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty) – Fourth-time All-Star, averaging 18.7 PPG, 5.1 APG

  • Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream) – Third selection, averaging 19.1 PPG, 4.1 APG


Frontcourt

  • Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx) – Captain, averaging 24.6 PPG, 8.2 RPG

  • A’ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces) – Seventh-time All-Star, averaging 22.1 PPG, 9.4 RPG

  • Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) – Two-time MVP, averaging 20.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG

  • Aliyah Boston (Indiana Fever) – Third All-Star nod, averaging 16.2 PPG, 8.1 RPG

  • Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm) – Historic 10th All-Star selection, averaging 17.4 PPG, 7.8 RPG

  • Satou Sabally (Phoenix Mercury) – Third selection, averaging 19.1 PPG, 7.7 RPG


Captain Breakdown & Selection Process

  • Captains: Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier are set to captain mixed rosters.

  • Selection Method: Top 10 vote-getters automatically start; rosters then completed via a draft on July 8. Voting breakdown: 50% fan, 25% players, 25% media.


Game Info & Coaches

  • All-Star Weekend: Skills & 3‑Point Contest Friday, July 18 – Game on Saturday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m. PT at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis.

  • Head Coaches: Minnesota Lynx’s Cheryl Reeve (Caitlin’s team) and New York Liberty’s Sandy Brondello (Collier’s).
