College Football Bowl Season officially kicks into gear this week, bringing a trio of matchups that set the tone for December football. From Atlanta to Los Angeles to Montgomery, fans get an early taste of postseason energy as teams chase hardware, momentum, and bragging rights.

IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl – Montgomery, AL

Troy (8–5) at Jacksonville State (8–5)

Two evenly matched programs collide in a gritty showdown as Troy’s stingy defense meets Jacksonville State’s fast-paced offense. Expect a backyard brawl vibe between programs separated by only a couple of hours geographically.

Michigan Coaching Shockwave

Michigan sent shockwaves through the college football world this week by firing their head coach, ending his short tenure. With recruiting season in full swing and their bowl game not until New Year's Eve the timing only intensifies the drama.

The Wolverines however conducted an investigation that found credible evidence that Sherrone Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member which led to the firing with cause.

Things only got worse for the former head coach though, as later in the day he was detained by police for a further investigation into potential charges.

Now, Michigan will move forward with promoted assistant coach to interim head coach Biff Poggi as they open the hunt further in an already busy coaching search year for college football.
