Golden Knights Tighten Grip on Pacific Division

The Vegas Golden Knights are heating up at the perfect time. Their latest 2-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils wasn’t just another win—it was a statement. With the playoffs approaching, Vegas is building momentum and extending their lead in the Pacific Division.

Shutting the Door on New Jersey

Goaltender Adin Hill was lights out, stopping all 25 shots he faced for his third shutout of the season. The game stayed tight through two periods, but Vegas found a way to break through in the third. Two power-play goals sealed the deal, proving once again that special teams can be a difference-maker down the stretch.

Meanwhile, New Jersey suffered more than just a loss on the scoreboard. Their star forward exited late in the third period with an injury, a tough blow for a team trying to stay in the playoff hunt.

Vegas Extends Their Pacific Division Lead

With this win, the Golden Knights now sit at 78 points, four ahead of the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. While other teams scramble to find consistency, Vegas keeps banking points. Their balanced attack, depth scoring, and strong goaltending are putting them in prime position for another deep playoff run.

The Knights know this is the time to separate from the pack. The Oilers and Kings are still lurking, but if Vegas keeps this up, they won’t be caught.
