Las Vegas Aces Hold Off Wings In 90–86 Nail-Biter Before All-Star Break

Las Vegas Aces Grind Out a Gritty Road Win

The Las Vegas Aces went into Dallas and wrapped up the first half of their season with a hard-fought 90–86 win over the Wings on Wednesday night. It wasn’t always pretty—but it was what Vegas needed to head into the All-Star break with momentum.

A’ja Wilson was, once again, unstoppable. She dropped 37 points and grabbed 10 boards, continuing her MVP-level play. Jewell Loyd made sure to make her presence known with 14 key points and 8 rebounds for the Aces. While Aaliyah Nye also pitched in 13 points of her own.

Despite a big fourth-quarter push from Dallas, Las Vegas was able to hang on to another late lead to take home the win.

With the win, the Aces are now 11–11 on the season, riding a two-game win streak and looking sharper with each game.

Next Up: Aces vs. Atlanta Dream (Tuesday, July 22)

After the All-Star festivities, the Aces will return home to Michelob ULTRA Arena on Tuesday, for a clash with the Atlanta Dream.

Expect another big game from Wilson as she looks to extend her dominance post-break.

What to Watch:

  • Can the Aces extend their win streak to three?

  • How will the rest help Vegas regroup defensively?
