Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers, underwent knee surgery already for it and to repair his LCL, which will have him missing the rest of the season as he begins the recovery process.


Packers’ Micah Parsons Loses Season to ACL Tear


Green Bay’s elite pass rusher Micah Parsons suffered a noncontact knee injury in Week 15 that has been confirmed as a torn ACL, a major blow to the Packers’ defensive front and their playoff hopes.


These two NFL Week 15 injuries, to a league MVP caliber quarterback, and one of the best defenders in football loom large for the start of next year even as rehab and healing pace will only tell if either starts Game 1 next season.
