Last Night’s NHL Playoff Highlights
Toronto Maple Leafs 4, Florida Panthers 3 – Game 2
The Toronto Maple Leafs edged the Florida Panthers 4–3 in Game 2, taking a 2–0 series lead. Mitch Marner scored the game-winning goal just 17 seconds after the Panthers tied it in the third period. Max Pacioretty and Max Domi each contributed a goal and an assist, while William Nylander also found the net.
In for the injured Anthony Stolarz, goaltender Joseph Woll made 25 saves for Toronto picking up his second win in as many games. Meanwhile his opposing net tender Sergei Bobrovsky only managed 16 saves for the Panthers. The series now shifts to Florida for Game 3 on Friday.
Dallas Stars 3, Winnipeg Jets 2 – Game 1
Mikko Rantanen led the Dallas Stars to a 1-0 series advantage with their 3–2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in Game 1. He was able to score a natural hat trick in the second period—his second consecutive hat trick in the 2025 NHL playoffs. Rantanen also made NHL history as the first player to score multiple three-goal periods in the same postseason. Goaltender Jake Oettinger made 29 saves for the Stars, while Nino Niederreiter and Mark Scheifele scored for the Jets. The Stars will look to keep their momentum rolling and take both road games when the puck drops for Game 2 on Friday in Winnipeg.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Washington Capitals Game 2 - 4:00PM PT
The Carolina Hurricanes lead the series 1–0 after a 2–1 overtime victory in Game 1. Jaccob Slavin scored the overtime winner, and goaltender Frederik Andersen returned from injury to make 13 saves. The Capitals will look to even the series before heading to face the Canes on there home ice in Game 3 and 4.
Edmonton Oilers @ Vegas Golden Knights Game 2 - 6:30PM PT
The Edmonton Oilers took a 1–0 series lead with a 4–2 comeback win in Game 1. After trailing 2–0, the Oilers scored four unanswered goals, with 3 in the third period. The Golden Knights aim to bounce back at home and even the series before it shifts to Edmonton.
