May 8: Timberwolves Dominate Warriors in Game 2
The Minnesota Timberwolves leveled the series at 1-1 against the Golden State Warriors with a commanding 117–93 victory. Minnesota's defense stifled the Warriors, while their offense found rhythm, capitalizing on Golden State's struggles without Stephen Curry.
May 9: Cavaliers and Nuggets Secure Crucial Wins
Cleveland Cavaliers 126, Indiana Pacers 104 – Game 3
The Cavaliers bounced back in Game 3, defeating the Pacers 126–104 to narrow the series deficit to 2–1. Donovan Mitchell led the charge with 43 points, supported by key players Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. The Cavaliers' balanced attack overwhelmed Indiana, setting the stage for a pivotal Game 4.
Denver Nuggets 113, Oklahoma City Thunder 104 (OT) – Game 3
In a thrilling overtime battle, the Nuggets edged the Thunder 113–104 to take a 2–1 series lead. Denver's resilience and clutch performance in the extra period proved decisive, as they move forward in the series to Game 4.
May 10: Celtics and Timberwolves Take Series Leads
Boston Celtics 115, New York Knicks 93 – Game 3
The Celtics dominated the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, winning 115–93 to cut the series deficit to 2–1. Boston's sharpshooting, including 20 three-pointers, and a standout performance from Payton Pritchard (23 points) propelled them to victory. The Knicks still hold the series lead and will look to not spoil it in Game 4 on Monday.
Minnesota Timberwolves 102, Golden State Warriors 97 – Game 3
The Timberwolves secured a 102–97 win over the Warriors, taking a 2–1 series lead. Minnesota's tenacity overcame Golden State's best efforts, as the Warriors continue to navigate the series without Stephen Curry. Without any inkling of a return date for him yet the Wolves hope to continue capitalizing when Game 4 tips on Monday.
Yesterday's Game 4s
Oklahoma City Thunder 92, Denver Nuggets 87 – Game 4
The Oklahoma City Thunder tied their series against the Denver Nuggets at 2–2 with a gritty 92–87 victory. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 25 points, including nine crucial points in the fourth quarter. The game was marked by a historically low-scoring first quarter, with both teams combining for just 25 points, tying the record for the fewest ever in a playoff game's opening quarter. With a crucial Game 5 on Tuesday both teams look to get off to a better start as the series moves back to OKC.
Indiana Pacers 129, Cleveland Cavaliers 109 – Game 4
The Indiana Pacers dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers to take a strong 3-1 series lead. Indiana surged to an 80–39 (41point) halftime lead, matching the largest in NBA playoff history, and never looked back. Pascal Siakam paced the Pacers with 21 points and 6 assists. The Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell left the game with an ankle injury and after a MRI is listed as questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 back home in Cleveland.
Tonight’s NBA Playoff Matchups
Boston Celtics @ New York Knicks – Game 4 – 4:30 PM PT
The Boston Celtics aim to tie the series as the New York Knicks who hold a 2–1 series lead look to rebound at home after a blowout Game 3 loss. The Celtics, who lost the first two games at home, look to continue their shooting momentum as they were able to put in 20 three pointers in Game 3 after only netting 25 in the first two games combined.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Golden State Warriors – Game 4 – 7:00 PM PT
The Minnesota Timberwolves lead their series 2–1 against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, still without Stephen Curry due to a hamstring injury, aim to keep the supporting cast at it's best and even the series at home before heading back to Minnesota for Game 5.
