Last Night’s Game 4 Highlights
New York Knicks 121, Boston Celtics 113 – Game 4
The New York Knicks defended their home court with a 121–113 victory over the Boston Celtics, taking a 3–1 series lead. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 39 points and 12 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges each contributed 23 points.
The Celtics, despite a strong performance from Derrick White and Jaylen Brown netting 23 and 20 points respectfully, were led most of the way by Jayson Tatum. He put together a 42 pint 8 rebound performance before leaving with a highly speculated injury that is still to be finalized by himself or the organization. It is feared to be series to the level of some even questioning what his status will be for next year much less next game though. Boston now faces elimination as the series shifts back to TD Garden for Game 5 tomorrow.
Minnesota Timberwolves 117, Golden State Warriors 110 – Game 4
The Minnesota Timberwolves edged out the Golden State Warriors 117–110, extending their series lead to 3–1. Julius Randle (31 points) and Anthony Edwards (30 points) paved the way for the Wolves. While the Warriors, still without Stephen Curry, were left with a 23 point performance by Jonathan Kuminga to lead the way, leaving them unable once again to overcome Minnesota's balanced attack. Game 5 will be a must-win for Golden State on the road as the series returns to Minneapolis tomorrow night.
