Las Vegas Aces Secure 7th Straight Win
The Las Vegas Aces are officially on fire. With their 7th straight victory today, Vegas continued their late-season surge by defeating the Dallas Wings at home. A’ja Wilson once again led the way with another 30+ point game (34), dominating inside with her scoring touch and relentless rebounding.
Kierstan Bell, Nalyssa Smith, and Jewell Loyd also added 18,14,and 12 points respectively. With Chelsea Gray providing 10 points of her own to help put the game away.
The win pushes the Aces (21-14) even closer to climbing the playoff standings, and they’re looking like a team no one wants to face come postseason.
Looking Ahead: Aces vs. Dream
The Aces won’t have much time to rest as they get set for a quick turnaround. On Tuesday, August 19, they’ll host the Atlanta Dream at home. This matchup will be another chance for Vegas to extend their streak to eight and further solidify their playoff positioning.
The Dream, now leading the Eastern Conference, will bring energy and speed, but the Aces have momentum entering the game. With Wilson playing like the MVP candidate she is, and the supporting cast clicking at the right time, Vegas will enter this one as the favorites.
