Las Vegas Aces Edge Golden State Valkyries in 104–102 Thrilling Finish
The Las Vegas Aces pulled out a 104–102 win over the Golden State Valkyries at home, snapping a brief skid and lighting up the scoreboard in front of an excited crowd at Michelob ULTRA Arena. A high-octane offensive duel saw the Valkyries crack 100 points for the first time—but Vegas answered with fire power of their own and came out on top.
Key Performances:
A’ja Wilson returned from injury in style, dropping 34 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
Jackie Young erupted for 30 points, including the Aces' final 10 to seal the win—going a perfect 11-for-11 from the line.
Jewell Loyd also added 15 points, providing steady support.
With the win, the Aces improve to 10–11, while the Valkyries drop to 10–10.
Next Up: Aces vs. Wings – Wednesday
Las Vegas heads to Dallas to challenge the Dallas Wings on Wednesday.
What to Watch:
Season Series: Can the Aces build on their June win vs the Wings to go up 2-0 in the series?
Wilson’s Momentum: Now back on the court, she’ll need to continue the dominant form seen against the Valkyries.
Bench & Defense: Las Vegas' support players must remain active. Particularly, defensive stops will be key as the Aces look to hang with the Wings’ athletic backcourt.
