Las Vegas Aces Tie Franchise Record With 12th Straight Win

Las Vegas Aces Stay Hot For Their 12th Straight Win

The Las Vegas Aces can’t stop, won’t stop. Tonight, they grinded out an 81–75 victory on the road against the Atlanta Dream, marking their 12th straight win. A’ja Wilson once again led the charge with 34 points and 10 rebounds, punishing defenders in the paint. Meanwhile Jackie Young put up a 10 point, 10 rebound, 11 assist triple double.

The Dream fought hard, led by Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones each scoring 19, but Vegas’ defensive pressure and late-game execution made the difference. Even on the road, the Aces showed the kind of poise that makes them look like the team to beat heading into the postseason.

With 12 straight in the win column, they officially tied the franchise record set in 2012 when they were the San Antonio Stars.

Looking Ahead: Aces vs. Lynx

Next up, the Aces return home for a marquee showdown on Thursday 9/4 against the Minnesota Lynx. This matchup has serious playoff vibes, as Minnesota has been one of the top contenders all season.

The Lynx bring balanced scoring and gritty defense, making them a tough test even for a red-hot Aces team. For Las Vegas, the keys will be keeping the offense flowing with ball movement and making sure Wilson gets the touches she needs inside. With both teams being the only playoff locks so far expect a battle.
