MLB's New Call‑Ups

Several young talents are looking to make an impact this season in the MLB:

Royals call up Jac Caglianone

Kansas City promoted their No.1 prospect Jac Caglianone on a blazing pace after only 12 games in Triple- A much in thanks to his .319/.370/.723 mark during that short span. Though hitless in his debut, he has since started to come around and is now sitting at .240/.240/.320.

Red Sox promote Roman Anthony

Boston’s top prospect Roman Anthony was brought up after a .288/.423/.491 in Triple-A this year. His debut drew attention thanks to a 497-foot minor league grand slam that was all the Red Sox brass needed to see before they decided to give him the nod and bring him to the bigs.

A’s make move on Denzel Clarke

Oakland’s rookie CF Denzel Clarke earned promotion after hitting .286/.436/.419 in Triple-A this year. Known for his defensive prowess though, Clarke has delivered spectacular home-run robberies in multiple games including what some are calling as the early catch of the year last night, earning him national attention.
