Pacers Punch Ticket to NBA Finals with Game 6 Win
The Indiana Pacers are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000 after a commanding 125–108 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Pascal Siakam led the charge with 31 points, and ultimately earning Eastern Conference Finals MVP honors. Tyrese Haliburton contributed 21 points, while Obi Toppin added 18 points off the bench. Indiana's transition game was dominant, while they capitalized on 17 Knicks turnovers.
The Knicks kept things close for the first half before falling behind the Pacers so far they were never able to make a comeback. OG Anunoby led the way with 24 points while teammates Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 and Jalen Brunson also pitched in 19 points of his own. This extends the Knicks' title drought to 52 years.
NBA Finals Preview: Pacers vs Thunder
The 2025 NBA Finals is now fully filled in with the Indiana Pacers against the Oklahoma City Thunder, marking the first championship appearance for both franchises in over a decade. The Thunder, led by league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, finished the regular season with a league-best 68–14 record and are making their first Finals appearance since 2012. The Pacers, under coach Rick Carlisle, have showcased depth and resilience throughout the playoffs after finishing the regular season 4th in the East with a 50-32 record.
Game 1 is scheduled for Thursday, June 5 in Oklahoma City.
