Game 3: Pacers Capitalize On Home Court
The Indiana Pacers took full advantage of playing at home, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 116–107 in Game 3 to grab a 2–1 series lead in the NBA Finals. Despite being down midway through the fourth quarter, Indiana closed strong— fueled by bench hero Bennedict Mathurin’s 27 points, the most by a player off the bench in the Finals since 2011. Star Tyrese Haliburton added 22 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds, narrowly missing a triple‑double. Their bench outscored OKC’s 49–18, and Indiana outplayed the Thunder down the stretch. OKC had 3 players with 20 or more points including Jalen Williams' 26, Chet Holmgren's 20, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 24. This pushed SGA to another team record and now has more points in a single postseason than any other Thunder player in history.
