Ja'Marr Chase Handed One-Game Suspension for Spitting Incident

For the second time this season, the NFL had another spitting incident, this time involving Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase.

Chase was caught on camera and confirmed by league officials for spitting on Steelers defender Jalen Ramsey during their Week 11 matchup, drawing a one-game suspension and a massive financial hit. He is set to lose roughly $500,000 in game-check money, a costly penalty for a moment of frustration.

This marks the second such disciplinary action of the season, following Eagles DT Jalen Carter, who was ejected at the start of Week 1 for a similar violation.

The league’s stance is now crystal clear: any spitting incidents will result in immediate and harsh punishment.
