Not exactly panic button territory, but definitely the kind of game that leaves a little sting.

Montreal came in ready to grind, clogging up the neutral zone, taking away shooting lanes, and capitalizing on their chances. Vegas generated pressure but couldn’t finish plays when it mattered, as the lone VGK third period goal wasn’t enough to dig out of the early hole.
