Vegas Golden Knights Struggle in the Third vs Tampa

The Vegas Golden Knights hit the ice last night with a chance to build momentum but the Tampa Bay Lightning had other ideas. Vegas fell 6–3 in a fast-paced matchup where Tampa’s transition game and power play simply proved too much, as they out scored Vegas 4-1 in the third period.

Ivan Barbashev had a part of all 3 of the Golden Knights' goals, scoring 2 himself and assisting on the third. With Mitch Marner adding 3 points of his own with 1 goal and 2 assists, and Jack Eichel also assisting on 2 goals.

Despite the loss, Vegas still sits in 2nd place in the Pacific Division, holding strong in a race that’s tightening quickly. All the while, Jack Eichel sits tied at the top of the league lead in points with 21, showing they have a chance to knock one home at any point.

It’s a long season and Vegas has shown it knows how to grind, adjust, and surge when it counts.
